Join me for the (in)RL {in real life} Conference April 26-27

As women, we have many responsibilities. It doesn’t matter if you are single, married, a stay-at-home-mom or work outside of the home. There is so much to be done, but only so many hours in the day in order to do it. In my own life as a working mom, who also home schools my kids,  I value creating space to nurture relationships in my closest spheres of influence. God created us for community. He knows we need it. And although it’s not always easy to do so, taking the necessary steps to build and nurture community is totally worth it.

And the folks over at (in) courage  know how important community is to all of us.  Along with the thoughtful, purposeful and encouraging articles at the  (in) courage blog,  they’ve launched  (in)RL conference (IRL = “in real life”). This is an amazing un-conference, which consists of global webcasts and local meet-ups. No fees. No hotels. No airfare. No suitcases to pack.

Simply put, (in)RL is an invitation to share with women in our communities and connect for deeper relationships in real life. Last year, the speakers dove head-first into the nuts and bolts of  community. And this year, they are taking it deeper. Sharing with us the importance of staying rooted in community, even though we think walking away would be so much easier and much more convenient.

So when is it? Well, it’s April 26 and 27, 2013. On Friday, you’ll listen to the webcasts in the comfort of your on home. Then, on Saturday, you have the opportunity to connect in real life with other women in your local area.
