Thirty Days of Thanksgiving: Day 17 – Laughter

This is part of a series called “Thirty Days of Thanksgiving”.

A compilation of what I am most thankful. In no certain order. Just those things most near and dear to me.

On the day we were married, May 22, 1999, our friends made a video that contained “advice” for a good marriage. Although many valuable tips were shared, one stood out from the rest:

“Laugh. Laugh a lot.”

The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter.
Mark Twain

The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.
e e cummings

There is little success where there is little laughter.
Andrew Carnegie

Through humor, you can soften some of the worst blows that life delivers.
And once you find laughter,  no matter how painful your situation might be,
you can survive it.
Bill Cosby

A cheerful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
Proverbs 17:22
